Worried about your heart?
If you or a loved one have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and are at risk of cardiovascular disease, you may qualify for this study!
Even when glucose levels are under control in patients with T2D, there is still a higher risk of heart disease and stroke for these patients.
Local doctors are conducting a clinical trial to test the effectiveness of an investigational drug for cardiovascular risk and moderate renal impairment in patients with T2DM.
Consider participating in this clinical research study and have the potential to learn more about your health.
Qualified participants must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus
Have at least 1 major cardiovascular risk factor OR are aged 55+ years old with at least 2 minor cardiovascular risk factors
Have an estimated GFR* between 25-60
*GFR (glomerular filtration rate) is the level of functionality of your kidneys.
Qualified participants will receive all study-related care and study medication at no cost. Compensation for time may be available.
