Still suffering from asthma symptoms?
Asthma can be controlled through the use of steroid medications, but sometimes it is not enough. If you or a loved one have moderate to severe asthma and are currently using a daily medication outside of your rescue inhaler, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study.
Medical specialists at Clinical Research Center of Alabama are recruiting volunteers for a clinical trial to evaluate the effectiveness of an investigational oral medication to reduce worsening of asthma when added to the asthma medications you are currently prescribed. Take control of your health options and consider participating!
To qualify for this study, participants must:
Be 19-74 years old
Have had asthma for at least 12 months
Take a daily asthma medication aside from a rescue inhaler (Albuterol/Proair/Xopenex)
Receive steroids due to flaring asthma in the past 12 months
Not be pregnant or breastfeeding
Not be a smoker
Study-related care and study medication will be provided at no cost. Compensation for time and travel may be provided to qualified participants.
